John Winthrop

John Winthrop was one of the most leading figures in the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Winthrop was a wealthy English Puritan lawyer. He led the first wave of immigrants from England in 1630. He also served as governor for the first 12 years of the colonies. His writings of the colony as a Puritan completely changed the way New England developed, Winthrop’s vision influenced the governments and religions of neighboring colonies.

John Winthrop will be remembered for his accomplishments, as well as former NFL player Steve Young, will be remembered for his. Steve Young is former NFL quarterback who played 15 seasons in the NFL. He played college football for Brigham young University and played professionally for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers. He was named NFL MVP in 1992 and 1994 and MVP of Super Bowl XXIX. In 1994, after the Super Bowl, Young went to law school to get a degree in law. Right when he retired, he had the highest passer rating among the other quarterbacks. Young is still ranked the highest among other players. Young also won a record of six NFL passer ranking titles.
